Selling Policy

We appreciate when customers bring us items to receive store credit. So everyone is on the same page we request that you review our selling policy before bringing items to the store. Below you will find our rules.

1. Clothing items must be freshly laundered and put in a tote or box. NO grocery or trash bags. You may bring 1 64 quart tote or 2 diaper boxes of clothes at a time.

2. Clothing must be in new or like new condition. No holes, stains, offensive odors or excessive wear.

3. We accept clothing from Preemie to 18/20 in kid sizes and XS - XXL in adult sizes. 

4. We accept shoes of all sizes including sport cleats, swim shoes, rain/snow boots etc. Please don't bring shoes with mud on them.

5. Electronic toys must have batteries and be in good working condition.

6. 6 & 12 volt ride on vehicles must have working charger and battery.

7. Books must be in new or like new condition. No rips, tears or coloring of pages. 

8. Maternity and nursing items accepted in new or gently used condition. (Not currently accepting these items 6/2024)

9. Diapering items including cloth, swim diapers and wipes accepted. Disposable wipes must be unopened. All disposable diapers opened unless in a large quantity and in original packaging will be considered a donation to a local foster closet we are partnered with. 

10. Feeding supplies such as bottles, sippy cups in like new condition. No formula please.

11. Baby gear must be clean and not recalled or outdated. NO car seats please.

12. Sports gear/equipment must be clean and in usable condition (cleats, helmet, bats, mitts, balls etc.)

13. Toys must not be broken, have missing pieces, and be in good working order. If it requires batteries they must work.

14. Cribs/bassinets will be accepted if they are less than 5 years old with all the hardware included, not recalled and in good condition. No cribs with chipped paint or drop side cribs accepted.

15. Please contact the store before bringing large items in like cribs or 12v ride on vehicles.

16. You may drop items off any day we are open. We will call you with a non-obligatory offer when we have finished going through your items. You will have 48 hours to respond to our offer and pick up your containers. Items not picked up within 48 hours become property of The Whole Kid and Kaboodle. Not accepting our offer within 48 hours will forfeit your store credit amount.
